The Economic Summer Programme is a private initiative of Dr Kirill Zimarin, PhD in Economics, President of the Association of International Banks in Cyprus, a successful banker and businessman, CEO of RCB Bank.
“The idea of organising a Summer Programme came to us several years ago, when students were taking internships at RCB Bank.
We have built on our experience. I organised the first school for students 30 years ago at Moscow University with my friends. Private educational initiatives are an effective economic tool for the improvement of education, and it offers young people an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and practical application for their future careers. We shall invest in the younger generation and help them build core values and competencies.
Our project provides an excellent opportunity for students from various countries and cultures to come together and gain high-level academic insight on Banking and Finance but also learn about Cyprus, its excellent prospects, and, of course, its rich history and unparalleled beauty.”

The project is implemented under the auspices of First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus,
Mrs Andri Anastasiades
